Formed in the chaos of 2020’s pandemic, Dallas’ The No-Where Jets have diligently been working to
perfect a set of originals that are destined to be power pop-punk classics.
The four DFW music veterans that bring life to The No-Where Jets are McMurdo Murphy (vocals /
guitar), NovaCraig (lead guitar / vocals), Rah (bass), and Alan Mouradian
(drums).
Within the band, there’s a family tree that uniquely connects the four members at varying points
throughout their musical journeys.
McMurdo and NovaCraig spent time together in several bands over the years including the 80’s
hardcore punk outfit Process Revealed and the Bat Mastersons in the 90’s where they recorded the Gold
Headed Cane album with David Castell. In 2010, the pair worked together once again in Max Cady
releasing Wicked Ways through Sidearm Entertainment.
Continuing with the branches of The No-Where Jets’ family tree, Jeff, Alan and NovaCraig played together in
Scary Cherry and the Bang Bangs, a glitter punk band.
In early December, The No-Where Jets entered Valve Studios with Casey Di Iorio, who has worked with
Bowling for Soup and Blue October, to lay down tracks for a four-song EP through Space Cadet Jet
Records titled LAUNCH! and was released in October 2021, the blue seven-inch vinyl EP will feature two
new songs as well as two from Ultra86, McMurdo's previous band.
On February 12, 2021, the No-Where Jets released “Tass0” on all major digital streaming services. This
song is based on Philip K. Dick’s sci-fi short story Second Variety. The single boldly challenges the listener
with a darkly dystopian vision of the future featuring beautiful but killer robots and unreachable moon
bases. Simply put, “Tass0” is a nuclear guitar explosion of power pop-punk innovation and hasn’t gone
unnoticed in the DFW radio market.
The single has been played on Debbie Sexxton’s Loud and Local show on 97.1 KEGL as well as Reckless
Radio on 89.3 KNON. The band's second single title “52 Spacesuit Mask” was released on April 6 and
debuted on Reckless Radio on 89.3 KNON.

In September 2021, the band started recording ep number 2 with six new songs.
From the recordings in September, The No-Where Jets debuted their newest song “Museums of Us” on
Halloween of 2021 on all major digital streaming services. This song is a keen jam that harkens back to
the classic Hollywood horror characters: the Werewolf, Frankenstein and the Vampire topped off with a
heavy dose of 70’s glam rock. Recently, this song has topped over 200,000 streams on Spotify.
The first of 2022 found the band opening touring acts such as Doyle of the Misfits as well as Cuffed Up
from LA. They have also played several shows with Solshifter, featuring members of the original Toadies.
In 2022, the remaining five songs from the 2nd ep have finished recording and were released on all digital
streaming services.

In July 2023, The No-Where Jets released a live cover of Pretty in Pink from a show they performed inAugust in downtown Dallas at the Double Wide. It was an intense show with lots of energy and sweat and the band decided to release the rest of the show as a live album which come out in September. A cover of Devo’s Freedom of Choice will also be part of this release.
The No-Where Jets have continued to play locally as well as outside DFW such as in San Antonio recently.
